April 2019 Residential Real Estate Statistics

Average sale prices and total unit sales are still increasing.

The numbers are in for the month of April and we are happy to announce that both unit sales and average sale price are up for all of Niagara + Dunnville and the Hamilton, Stoney Creek and Ancaster regions.

Niagara + Dunnville had a 9% increase in Unit sales  and a 7% increase in average sale price over last year.

Hamilton, Ancaster and Stoney creek also had a 9% increase in unit sales, but a slightly smaller 4% increase in average sale price.

Niagara-on-the-Lake had a 12% increase in unit sales and a 17% increase in average sale price.

Niagara Falls had an 11% increase in average sale price, but unit sales fell 7%.

Fort Erie had a 5% increase in unit sales, but only a 1% increase in average sale price.

St. Catharines had an 8% increase in average sale price and a 9% increase in unit sales.

Thorold had a 36% increase in unit sales, and a 20% increase in average sale prices.

Pelham saw an 18% increase in unit sales, but a 4% decrease in average sale price.

Welland had a 14% increase in average sale price and a 20% increase in unit sales.

Port Colborne has a 4% increase in unit sales but a 14% decrease in average sale price.

Lincoln had a 2% decrease in average sale price, but a 10% increase in unit sales.

West Lincoln had a 10% increase in unit sales, and a 24% increase in average sale price.

Grimsby had a 1% increase in average sale price, and a 14% increase in unit sales.

Dunnville had a 12% increase in unit sales, but a 3% decrease in average sale price.

Hamilton had a 9% increase in unit sales, and a 7% increase in average sale price.

Ancaster had an 11% decrease in unit sales, and a 1% decrease in average sale price.

Stoney Creek had a 22% increase in unit sales and a 4% increase in average sale price.
