Now that we are firmly into the Spring market we are seeing a change where things are starting to balance out. Prices are still up over this time last year and inventory is still low, but there has been a slight increase with inventory in the Niagara/Haldimand Regions with 1.5 months and Hamilton having 1.3 months. In Niagara/Haldimand Regions we saw Unit Sales decrease by 21% and the Average Sale Price increase by 25%. In Hamilton region it was a similar story with Unit Sales decreasing by 32% and the Average Sale Price increasing by 27%. The average rental price in all combined areas is over $2300/month and many new home/condo projects are well on their way across the peninsula.
