As another year has drawn to a close and we celebrated the holiday season we noticed that prices are still up over this time last year, but prices are continuing to leveling out and there was a slight decrease in inventory for the month of December with Niagara/Haldimand Regions having 2.9 months and Hamilton having 1.5 months. In Niagara/Haldimand Regions we saw Unit Sales decrease by 35% and the Average Sale Price increase by 11%. In Hamilton region we saw Unit Sales decreasing by 37% and the Average Sale Price increasing by 10%. The average rental price in all combined areas is over $2400/month and many new home/condo projects are well on their way across the peninsula.
