January 2021 Residential Statistics

WELCOME TO 2021!
The residential real estate market in Niagara / Hamilton / Haldimand is going strong to start 2021!  Niagara & Dunnville were up 15% in unit sales, 38% in Average Sale Price, with relatively low inventory in most markets. 
Hamilton had a bit of a slower start 2021 with unit sales being up 1%, but the Average Sale Price was up 27%. The outlook is quite positive as we push further along into 2021. Average rent in all combined areas has surpassed $2100 / month and many new home/condo projects are well underway across the peninsula.
