March 2019 Residential Statistics

First Quarter of 2019 was quiet, but still saw an increase with New Listings, Unit Sales and Average Sale Price.

Niagara + Haldimand had a 3.6% increase in Unit Sales from the same time last year, and a 6.6% increase in Average Sale Price.

Hamilton, Ancaster and Stoney Creek had a 7.6% increase in Unit Sales and a 4.9% increase in Average Sale Price.

Both regions had a large increase in New Listings, Niagara had 17% more New Listings compared to the same time last year, and Hamilton’s New Listings increased 18%.

There are 4 months of inventory left in Niagara, and only 2 months of inventory in Hamilton. With houses averaging 40 days on market, we are anticipating a great Spring Market!
