November 2019 Residential Statistics

We have a Seller's Market heading into the final month of 2019. 

Both unit sales and average sale price in Niagara, Dunnville, Hamilton and surrounding areas have increased YTD compared to last year. 

Niagara + Dunnville had a strong market in 2019 with 4% increase in listings and a 9% increase in both unit sales and average sale price. Houses averaged $329/sqft and 39 days on market in Niagara. With 3 months of supply, Niagara is heading towards a balanced market. 

Hamilton, Stoney Creek and Ancaster also saw a strong market in 2019. While there was only a 1% raise in new listings, unit sales rose 13% and average sale price rose 7%. Houses averaged $420/sqft and 30 days on market. With 2 months of supply, Hamilton and area remains in a seller's market.
