When someone becomes a real estate agent, it’s often not their first career. This is true for me as well. After obtaining my Human Relations Diploma at Niagara College in 1997, I decided to pursue a career in communications and worked for a few years as a reservations agent for a large hotel chain in Niagara Falls, being promoted as one of the departments supervisors within a year. I knew right away that position was a huge opportunity, and I learned as much as I could, knowing I could take that experience with me forever. I'll never forget my experiences there. The time came when I was ready for the my next step, to work directly with people as a Personal Support Worker. I enjoyed this career for about 14 years. There's nothing like being someone's caregiver, it is very rewarding. I had always wanted to run a business, however, so I obtained my real estate licence in December 2012. I love what I do. It doesn’t feel like work and I am so elated to help others in the community I grew up in achieve their goal of home ownership and passing their home to the next lucky owner! The last 25 years or so of education, experience and learning has abundantly prepared me for my real estate career. I’m a lifelong learner as well...I will never stop being inquisitive. The fact that I’ve created and sustained a business of roughly 90% referral is a testament to my commitment in the real estate industry and to my drive to make a better Niagara with every family I help. I was honoured in 2018 to have been a finalist for the Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce's Women in Business Award for Business Leadership. I'm excited about meeting new clients.
