Fonthill

Fonthill is one of five charming villages which make up the Town of Pelham (population 16, 598 as of 2011) along with Effingham, Fenwick, North Pelham and Ridgeville. Located in the heart of Niagara between Lake Erie and Lake Ontario, Fonthill is the largest of the five villages. Fonthill is the business and commercial centre of Pelham and also the location of the Municipal Offices. The scenic rolling hills of Fonthill and the surrounding towns of Pelham are home to a variety of orchards, vineyards, and greenhouses. Residents can sample local produce such as cherries, apples, and peaches at the local farmers market. There are large quarry sites in Fonthill from which thousands of tonnes of aggregate material is taken. One former quarry site has been redeveloped and is now the Peninsula Lakes Golf Club. The town of Fonthill welcomes visitors to the annual Pelham Summerfest, a 4-day festival of music, entertainment, and children’s activities, designed to showcase the town’s many unique downtown vendors. Along with Summerfest, Fonthill also hosts the Pelham Art Festival.  A must-see for art lovers,  the Art Festival promotes the work of local artists, crafters, and photographers every year on Mother’s Day. Community spirit is strong in Fonthill where visitors receive an extra special warm welcome.  If you are considering buying a home in Fonthill, visit our Royal LePage Niagara Fonthill Office where a warm welcome awaits you.  One of our sales representatives will be happy to help you find what you are looking for.
