First surveyed in 1788, Thorold has since transitioned from multiple small townships and communities into the City of Thorold. Along with many recreational parks, Thorold is home to numerous historical sites including Decew House, The Old Fire Hall Chestnut Hall, St Johns School House and and the Soldiers’ Monument.
